If you have children, then you really have to understand that your children are watching everything you do!  They need a good example to follow and parents should be the best example for that child.  So, the next time your child is acting out of character, check to be sure that you are not looking in the mirror and viewing a reflection of you!

Ephesians 5:1-2
Therefore be imitators of God as dear children.
